"Stayed here several years ago and loved it. But this time was put in room 20. No door on the bathroom.....AWKWARD!!! No windows that opened and the bed had a huge dip in the middle. The breakfast buffet was as good as remembered and on site parking is great. But the place needs some TLC."

"The Cacharel is like going back in time to a French ranch house. Staff is incredible- food is amazing. Gorgeous large pool (eat there!) rooms all have AC and are comfortable. Incredible location right by marshes with hundreds of flamingos and ample places to ride the iconic white horses. We had no idea how amazing this part of the world is. Would absolutely recommend if you want a wonderful once in a lifetime family adventure! We loved our stay (and added a night!) "
