"An incredible stay at the SANA Sesimbra. My room faced the beach, complete with a balcony. The room itself has a gorgeous midcentury modern hardwood bed with nightstand built-ins, and there is a matching built-in wardrobe, giving the space an elevated, timeless vibe. What really blew me away was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. "We stayed for 9 nights. The first impression was as we expected of a 5 star luxury hotel. The conseirge/luggage carrying guy was fantastic - a really nice welcoming. Couldn't remember his name - it was the same first name as the general manager I think he'd said. The room was very comfortable, clean and really spacious with a massive bed. We had a view of the pool and the gardens. I like the old part of the building with all its character and private chapel. The new part is kind of bolted on...

The location was perfect for a wedding we were attending in the location but was quite a way from the centre of Lisbon but Ubers were really reliable & affordable so this didn’t bother us. We did see local transport too ( train & bus) but didn’t use them. Hotel rooms were spacious & clean & we were fortunate enough to have a nice balcony. "Beautiful new room and furnishings! Really appreciated the modern design, spaciousness, large windows and blackout curtains. Bathroom was spacious and convenient with ample counter space and very large shower. "Kitchenette " was well-equipped with large counter, excellent coffee machine and kettle."

"Everything was good. However the main bedroom was upstairs and the bathroom was on the first floor. Hard to go to washroom in the middle of the night."

"Bathroom has great amenities: cosmetic mirror, double wall mirror, large shower stall with adjustable shower head. Hotel provides complimentary bottled water daily. Issues with room 1803 was dealt with quickly: low hair/wash in shower and USB not working. Could not get air conditioning to work. Hearty beakfast. Bedding smell fresh."

"From the moment you arrive, the staff here treat you like family. They are super friendly and helpful. the rooms are great and the patio with tapas dining and view of the river were perfect. We were so close to all the things we wanted to do in Lisbon. Even though you are right in the heart of things, the hotel is tucked away for a nice quiet sleep!!!"

"The hotel is nice but felt little dated. However, the biggest plus are the staff and location. Especially the concierge and staff that helped us with luggage were very helpful when we stayed there. The hotel concierge suggested us to use the taxi travel services to see Portugal and important places which saved us a lot of time and were able to enjoy the trip comfortably."
