"Parking and AC available. Original structure seems like a large home converted into rental rooms. Four rooms upstairs; 2 share nice balcony with some ocean view. Possiby 2 rooms downstairs with common area lounge. No staff available except for room cleaner that comes in, and (friendly) Odette (property mgr) to check you in/out. No telephone in room, so staff available only through WhatsApp. Property is located away from central Hanga Roa restaurants/market; accessible only by car, Taxi, walk. Includes breakfast of instant coffee, juice, fruits, breads, cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, cereal. No eggs. Easy walk to Moai and sunset @ Tehay. Lots of loose dogs on RapaNui, even in restaurants. Barking kept us up some nights in adjacent residential area. Not many speak/understand English, so it's great if you speak the language or have a great app. Odette can help you set up tours."

"Going to Rapa Nui my expectations were low in terms of what to expect but the bed was comfortable, hotel room was spotless, and I had hot water, a portable AC unit, fan, and power. Breakfast was free, and I was happy with it. Hanga Roa is very small and it was super easy to walk everywhere from the hotel even in flip flops. What was incredible was the hotel staff. Genuinely some of the nicest hotel staff I’ve ever met and were patient with my broken Spanish. It was super easy to check in, and they gave me my room early and let me check out late with no problem. "

"We loved the location. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The rooms were a good size but the cleaning was lacking. The floors were so dirty we had to wear our shoes inside. The roosters are a major deterrent. They are crowing all the time and it was hard to sleep, even with earplugs. The staff was friendly in person but never in the lobby. They tell you to use what’s app but then didn’t answer most of our questions. The breakfast was very disappointing. It was a small amount of food and very limited options. If you didn’t get there early all the good stuff was gone. It was more of a snack than an actual breakfast as the options were very limited. It was an okay hotel but if we came back to the island we would find somewhere else to stay. "
