"Just a heads up for English speaking travelers, that only one peraon who worked there spoke a little English, which is understandable but just an fyi. It made check-in a little difficult. The shower did not really work. I was only there for a day. It is nice for a more rugged kind of place. A little run down, but unique. The people where nice and helpful despite the language barrier. Again, I am not saying the people who live in rual Costa Rica should know how to speak English of course, but...

"Wonderful simple cabins that are reminiscent of Costa Rica of the past, with very kind helpful hosts. If you’re looking for a quiet clean escape into the cloud forest, this is the place. We were so happy to see all the hummingbirds while we enjoyed the excellent coffee and fresh fruit juice in the morning. "La route pour se rendre à l’hotel est terrible et dangereuse, il y a des trous énormes… Les chambres sont rustiques mais suffisantes. L’aménagement exterieur est magnifique, sources thermales, piscines et belle vegetation. Le restaurant est assez ordinaires pour le prix, beaucoup de nos plats étaient trop cuit ou brûlée. Pour conclure, à part les piscines naturelles , ça ne vaut pas le détour."
