Fantastic stay so peaceful n perfect

We loved our stay and the service provided by the owners of Escape 1770. So peaceful and still so close to town, brilliant view to relax and chill out to every evening.

Very nice

We had a pleasant stay here. This was a just a one night overnight stay and it did what it said on the tin. The owner of the hotel was most informative. This hotel is almost at the top of the hill and there is some fabulous views.

Amazing view, but old and tired building.

It was OK for one night. I wouldn't want to stay any longer. Pool was very small, spa didn't work. View was amazing, but we couldn't keep the door open because there is no screen door to keep out the mozzies and flies. There wasn't a cupboard to hang our clothes either.

One of the best places Ive stayed at. Great value.

Definitely one of the best places I've ever stayed at. Not a new place but that doesn't matter when you have a lovely open view to the beach and surrounding bush land and nice clean and well maintained facilities. Loved the outdoor BBQ area and pool. All facilities were very clean with plenty of utensils for cooking as you needed to. Very peaceful surroundings. The room facilities were just right although the bed was a little too firm.The bathroom was very spacious, more than meeting our needs. I would definitely consider going back to Escape 1770 when planning my next break. Great value for money. Our host(sorry forgot his name) was very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble.

Wonderful stay

What a wonderful place to stay. Lorenzo is a fabulous host,nothing is too much trouble, very quiet property,lovely comfortable bed,beautifully clean and spacious. We loved our stay here.

Relaxed comfortable stay

A last minute stopover was a real treat. Great communication from hotel. Friendly, laid back stay. Very comfortable king size bed with spa, and large room. The only downside perhaps was that the bar fridge wasn’t plugged in when we arrived. Ate our dinner on the verandah watching the sun go down over the bay.

this escape 1770 doesn't let you escape from your worries once on holiday it just brings fear and highly untoleatred anxiety through pure hatred at your self for booking this accommodation when you really needed a CLEAN, comfortable stay where you can cook your own meals and swim in a clean refreshing pool to re energise from the Northern Queensland sun. This apartment has cockroaches in your room, uncontrolled temperature in the shower , the outdoor BBQ has so much grime that it has four layers of grease so you won't even contemplate making your own meals, the plates and cutlery reside in a filthy cupboard, the kitchen tap spurts water at irregular flows, and the pool is filled with dead insects that leave you screaming !!! A word of advice DON'T BOOK HERE!!
