Ideal location to explore Agnes Beach and 1770

We booked a cabin for one night on our week long road trip from Brisbane to Airlie Beach. The room was exactly what we expected and ideal for one night, which enabled us to explore the sleepy towns of Agnes Beach and Seventeen Seventy.

Checking in went smoothly. The guy on duty was friendly and helpful. The room was basic, but neat and clean, fully equipped. Unfortunately, one downside was as it is winter with temperatures below or around 10 degrees in morning and evening, a heater or the aircon put in reverse (heat) would have made our stay more comfortable. There were building and renovations going on behind the complex we were staying although we didn’t really get any nuisance from it. The complex is situated alongside a road which means there is not a (nice) view when you want to sit on the balcony, but it was too chilly anyway for sitting and relaxing outside. Overall a nice place to stay for when you are passing through, like we were.
