"The room was ok , very small and hardly anywhere to put clothes so had to keep our clothes in our bags . NO WATER given daily despite being told not to use the tap water . This is totally unacceptable . The breakfast was amazing . The pool area very small and pool cloudy . The mini fridge cupboard would not close as the fridge to big . Unable to get a scooter rental despite there website saying they can arrange this for you so as Canala was very far from anywhere else we could not explore the...

"We stayed for 7 nights in Blé Kythnos. It’s a beautiful suite with minimalist design. The suite is a 5min drive from Merichas. It’s a quiet location overlooking Episkopi Bay. The only neighbours are the ones from the second suite adjoined. The view is just amazing! Breakfast is brought in everyday around 9am (pasties, pastries, biscottes, biscuits, jam, butter, honey and fresh fruits). It’s plentiful and we could never eat all of it in one seating! "This was a lovely property with their restaurant set right at the beach. It was a really delightful setting. The room was very clean and cool with a little patio area at the back. There was a place to hang a reasonable amount of washing. We had breakfast and lunch at the hotel restaurant a couple of time. There was a tasty and extensive menu. The healthy breakfast bowls were amazing. I can also recommend the Greek salad and the marinated anchovies...delicious. We ate dinner there the first evening. The staff were excellent and extremely friendly. Our host, Frixos, was lovely. He was very welcoming and greeted us every time we left and returned, checking that everything was ok. He also followed us down to the port with our adaptor and both phone chargers that we'd left in the room!! The hotel is about 10 minutes walk to the front where there are plenty of great restaurants to choose from. We did a couple of nice walks starting from Livadi. Serifos is a beautiful, peaceful island in early May. One tip...walking from the ferry to the hotel with cases is fairly easy as long as you find the back road round to it. Google maps took us up a long set of steps then back down...onto a beach. Very, very hard to walk along this with heavy cases. I strongly advise against this route!"

"We loved our stay! It was exactly what we were looking for: somewhere calm (in October), on a beautiful beach, with friendly/helpful staff and with great food. It was walking distance to the port and a lovely town with markets, restaurants, bakeries and shops. We loved trying the daily specials at Alexandros and enjoyed having an Aperol spritz on the beach. The water was clear and beautiful to swim in. The room had everything we needed and were cleaned daily. The hotel's dog, Oscar the Dachshund, was so adorable, just walking around, doing his job. Thank you so much to the whole staff. We are definitely coming back! We left feeling calm and refreshed!"

"Lovely, clean, and comfortable apartments right on Vagia beach. The sea is a short walk from the property and the views are spectacular. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The nearby cantina is a very good option for food and drinks, and a few restaurants will deliver to the property. Highly recommended!"

"If you are visiting Kythnos and looking for a value for money choice - meaning high end but not overpaying for the stay - then this is the best choice in the whole island. The place has all the basic amenities and is located next to a wild beach which is walkable and feels very private and crystal clear water. The rooms offer a unique sense of privacy even though the patios are connected with each other. The host is extremely kind and helpful and will assist with whatever you need. Has great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. A car is a must and ideally a mini SUV is the preferred car if you want to drive with ease. I cannot ezpresss enough the importance of having everything organized - this host will make sure that you do. "
