"First of all: Asos is a beautiful little village. Although completely dependend on tourism, it was very nice. Our villa was very nice and Panos & Popi were great hosts. The breakfast was fabulous and they helped with great tips what to do and where to eat. We had a great time!"

"Menia and Theodore were exceptional hosts. The apartment was cleaned daily (bins emptied, floors cleaned, bathroom cleaned and beds made). They checked on us continually to make sure we were happy. Would definitely recommend and know where to book in future."

"Fantastic apartment with good soundproofing / adherance to quiet hours. This is not a hotel; during your stay you are responsible for keeping your space clean. Our room was sparkling upon arrival, with a gorgeous view of the mountain across from us. Our host was very considerate and even let us try some of her homemade wine. The apartments were walking distance from several phenomenal restaurants. The beach I would not recommend walking to. The distance is small but the incline is massive....

"I’ve been to some lovely hotels and this is right up there with the best, but what really makes the difference with the Canale is the staff. Petros and his team are magnificent! So friendly and can’t do enough to make your stay on this beautiful island, really memorable. Definitely my favourite ever hotel."

Eu cheguei a Lefkada de ferry no Porto de Sami e fui de carro para o hotel, pela única estrada terrível que existe atualmente, e que me desanimou ter escolhido conhecer a ilha de Lefkada. "We had a wonderful stay here, the view across the bay is truly stunning, the poolside breakfast is delicious, and the staff were all very welcoming and helpful. It's very easy to get into town and there are some great restaurants nearby. We will definitely return the next time we are on the island. "

"As soon as I arrived they knew my name. They take great pride in their apartments and it shows. The room was spotless and the pictures don't do them justice when it comes to the overall look and feel. The breakfast was also very good value for money and the restaurant by the pool was a lovely quiet spot in the morning to enjoy it. I would recommend this place to anyone and would happily stay again in a heartbeat. A real gem. "

"Although a small apartment kitchen/dining, shower room and bedroom. Good balcony overlooking pool and out to see with uninterrupted views of those magnificent sunsets. You do need to hire a car. "We loved our stay at Penelope Villas, the villa was very well kept, spacious, modern, well equipped and in a great location. With just 4 villas it was quiet, but literally a 5 minute drive from Sami main promenade with a great selection of restaurants and shops. The only issue was the air con wasn’t working properly but the owners were very quick to get it fixed.
