Beautiful breakfast, had everything- even a person making you fresh juice, you just said what fruits you wanted, it was magical. For kids they also had a huge can of hot chocolate, highly appreciated.

Such a beautiful hotel, had a lovely stay. I was working remotely and it was a beautiful setting, gorgeous pool, the bed was so comfortable, lovely shower and the staff were fabulous and could not do enough. Highly recommend!

This property was excellent and we loved our time here. The breakfast was brilliant and had a good range and staff were very helpful! The hotel smelt amazing and was very clean and the pool and spaces to relax are awesome. Only downside is the bathrooms do not have a douche and the showers were problematic where it would be hot water then suddenly change to cold and then back to boiling hot. Also this hotel is slightly away from the main strip with restaurants (walking distance approx 1 hr) however, you can easily take a cab there for approx £4 pounds. Overall we loved our stay here and it was excellent!

First time in Agadir and first time in Morocco. Had an absolutely wonderful time at the Sofitel. All the staff were very polite and helpful. The pool area is beautiful, and the hotel has its own beach area looking out onto the promenade with a sea view. The nearest shops and other restaurants are a bit or a walk but you don’t really need to leave the hotel. Souk El Had was a 50MAD taxi ride away. There was lots of options at the breakfast buffet- I’m missing the fresh bread! Would definitely stay again for a relaxing holiday.

What a Magical Place

Great location on the beach. Very spacious everywhere on the property with large clean pool and easy access to the beach. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The food is delicious. All the staff are the true highlight of this place. Will definitely stay here again!

What a Magical Place

Great location on the beach. Very spacious everywhere on the property with large clean pool and easy access to the beach. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The food is authentic diverse and delicious. The staff from concierge to check in to restaurants are the true highlight of this place. Will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful hotel with very attentive staff. Amazing food in the buffet restaurant, both breakfast and dinner. Pools beautiful but not heated. In mid April, they were chilly and the water on the beach warmer (there is no private beach and the beach is fairly dirty, but nevertheless enjoyable). The kids enjoyed the kids club for a day, especially the video games! Even our 11 year old had fun. Overall, highly recommended!

Terrible check-in and check-out

Checkin took ages. We were there at about 1pm and didnt get our rooms till after 4pm! The hotel itself was very good with lovely views of the sea and the breakfast was amazing! Check-out again took ages and our credit card deposit wasnt returned either, due to some fault in their system.

Great location to switch off for a few days

Had a great, relaxing time. The interior courtyard is fantastic and the pool area was tranquil. We did stay towards the end of November and beleive it was quieter than the usual season, which certainly helped with the peacefulness. The concierge team were incredibly helpful, Ayoub provided some fantastic assitance and the front office team were also incredibly helpful and pleasant. I didn't quite catch her name but it may have been Soumia? We did find that there were very limited vegan options so had to eat away from the hotel for most meals

I had a wonderful stay and the staff were fantastic. The only disappointment was on check out I was promised that my bill would be sent to me. This did not happen. I emailed several times to follow up the request no response. Luckily I have a friend that lives there and he had to physically go and ask before it was sent. Very disappointing

The property itself is nice and clean but the room walls are very thin and AC units work at its own mind. The concierge is rarely at his desk, the bellboys are very nice and helpful. The reception staff are unnecessarily moody and not very helpful. Pool catering staff are good but only 1 to manage everyone, so very delayed in getting served or anything. Whereas the reception would have 5-6 people to manage 2 thing. Check in process is very slow, we had to wait 45 minutes. I would recommend the property but they need to change their staff in reception and organization of where to allocate the staff. Otherwise not much near by but a nice place to sit and relax.

Beautiful hotel, the bed was comfortable and the rooms keep noise out. Nice bathroom. ( rooms did vary, some rooms had been modernise, whereas others did not). Staff were very accommodating, our initial room had an ocean view but was next to the next hotel which is having construction done on it. We explained that we had a baby and it was impacting his sleep, they transferred us to a new room as soon as one became available. The new room was more morden. Staff were really friendly and went the extra mile to greet my baby and speak with him. Both breakfast and dinner were really nice. ( good quality, fresh food with plenty of options). At dinner drinks are not included ( soft drinks as well as water ) which was disappointing. Overall really enjoyed our stay, would come back again.

From the moment we got there the staff were incredibly welcoming and professional! They gave us a personal check-in the beautiful riad setting lounge. Mehdi and Soumaya were superb they offered us drinks whilst checking-in. I would also like to point out that the staff were very professional warm and delightful. The concierge staff were excellent and always ready for a helping hand. Ayoub was such really helpful, funny and good with the kids. The pool staff were also excellent and always warm and smiling around the pool. The food was great and always fresh. The room service was immaculate. Abderrahman was really helpful and always had a lovely smile when coming to the room. Last but not least all the housekeeping was always on point and cleaning the room daily with all the accessories replaced. All in all this hotel was a delightful stay, definitely a 5 star service. Lastly Rachid the the GM was also a very friendly and professional Manager, always willing to listen and help. Would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to going back in the future.

An Exquisite Stay!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sofitel Agadir Royal Bay Resort, and it was an experience worth raving about! From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with an ambiance that was both elegant and welcoming. The décor throughout the hotel is simply stunning, blending modern sophistication with tasteful touches that make you feel right at home. Cleanliness is clearly a top priority here, as every corner of the hotel, from the lobby to the rooms, was impeccably maintained. The professional staff made my stay even more enjoyable, always going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The concierge team, in particular, deserves a special mention for their friendliness and helpfulness, providing excellent recommendations and making my itinerary seamless. Dining was a culinary delight. The food was not only delicious but also offered a large variety, catering to every palate. Each meal was a new adventure, with dishes that were beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The venue itself is excellent, whether you’re here for business or leisure. We went in October as a family of three with a 2 year old staff we’re all so kind and friendly the whole week. Welcomed with Moroccan tea which was delicious. The weather was perfect not too hot but still warm enough to lie out. The sunbeds are so comfortable like big double beds and spaced out so it feels like a more chic resort. Towards the end of our week was half term and it became a little more challenging to get a bed as the hotel was busier but we still found somewhere to sit. Cool is cold but we didn’t mind that especially when it’s so warm. Fresh towels everyday. Mostly French people staying in the hotel it was a very calm and relaxing vibe. Drinks were the same price as a city in the UK as was food. Breakfast and dinner were included for us and both delicious lots of variety, very fresh and no upset tummies. We asked to be moved to a run with a balcony or patio as we booked without by mistake and with a toddler needed somewhere to sit in the evening, the staff got us moved which was really kind. Lovely little biscuits and coffee in your room and water everyday. We didn’t use room service I’m not sure this is even available. Beach was lovely a lot of local schools using it for sports which we liked it was nice watching local children enjoy some football. Local shops have some basic bits but I’d bring everything you need. Robes, slippers, soap all in the room. If you want a “fly and flop” and not too bothered about seeing actual Morocco this is a great option.
