"I saw several cockroaches in my bathroom. The music from the rooftop bar is very loud and you will hear it nonstop throughout the evening and well into the night especially if you are near the stairwell. So bring earplugs. Very strange shower design with no proper door that leads to water spilling out unless you're very careful. The hotel staff are great and so is the location. Breakfast was okay and convenient but unless you need to wake up early in the morning, I would recommend getting breakfast at one of the many nearby restaurants. Great views."

"The Astor was a wonderful boutique style hotel set in the heart of Athens! It was in walking distance of many great restaurants and places to souvenir shop or regular shop. The staff was very attentive! The restaurant at the top had an AMAZING view of The Acropolis and the ambience was nice as well! They had a buffet breakfast every morning and the restaurant served finger foods and drinks in the later hours! The hotel was also convenient for pick up for a few of our excursions. One thing to know is that hotel rooms here are on the smaller side however, if you’re vacationing in Greece you’re really only using it to sleep. Beds were comfortable and it was very quiet in the hotel at night the city below is lively though. Thank you to everyone who works at the Astor for a wonderful experience!"

"Hidden Gem in Athens — Eternity Hotel I loved the central location. A true hidden gem near everything you need, with a convenient local grocery right next door. We booked last minute and were thrilled with the stay; if we had known they offer rooms facing the Acropolis, we would have upgraded. Highlights- Rooftop restaurant next to hotel: stunning Acropolis view, ideal for a memorable meal. Across the street rooftop bar: livelier atmosphere with a great Acropolis backdrop for sunset or a great night cap stop. Breakfast and coffee- Continental breakfast was amazing: fresh and satisfying. They offer fresh omelets' Lattes were the best we had in Athen's Bartenders and servers were exceptionally good. Great craft and manners like no other. Clean, comfortable rooms with reliable Wi‑Fi and a comfortable bed. They offered us a bottle of wine and large complimentary bottles for our first night. Overall Eternity Hotel delivers a memorable Athens stay: unbeatable location, stunning views, excellent breakfast and coffee, and warm hospitality. A true hidden gem in the heart of the city."

"I was looking for a special hotel as a wedding anniversary treat for my husband, Electra Metropolis, did not disappoint. Prior to arrival l contacted the hotel to request an airport transfer and mentioned that it was our wedding anniversary. I received a prompt and professional response with details of our transfer. First impressions of the hotel were excellent a smart doorman at the entrance a friendly greeting by the porter and a smooth check in by Alexia, as it turns out she also checked us out. Our room 506 was clean and spacious positioned on the front of the building. The outlook was to building works and some street noise could be heard in the room. Neither of which bothered us but some guests may not like that. A few hours after check in we returned to find a note in our room asking us to call reception. Imagine our surprise when we were brought a delicious heart shaped pudding and a bottle of prosecco. A gift in recognition of our special occasion, very much appreciated. We only had one day of sunshine so took advantage of the swimming pool area, a nice bonus in a city location. The views of the Acropolis on the roof terrace are a real highlight. Breakfast is plentiful and varied, we really enjoyed it along with superb service from everyone especially, Effiticia and Nicursor. All in all the experience was faultless, a great location, well maintained building and staff who take pride in there hotel and the service they deliver. Thank you 😊"
