"It was the most magical stay! Super kind staff, cafeteria was really useful, we even use the sauna! The only thing I would make sure everyone knows is that there are no blinds in the Viking themed rooms, so bring a sleep mask!"

"Hotel is located in a little town. We stayed one night last month in September. It’s a very 70’s style hotel but I think they have an older hotel which looks lovely & wish I had booked there. Staff are friendly & it’s clean and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were good. "

The strike by hotel and restaurant workers had an obvious impact on the breakfast experience;though we only found out on arrival, when at reception we were told that no hot food would be on offer.This was a major problem for my wife who has significant blood-sugar problems. The choice of low sugar foods was woeful with only two choices of fruit, both not classed as low sugar. The choice of cereals and pastries did not compensate for the lack low sugar...

"This is an amazing hotel. It’s massive. We had a huge room with a view of the farms and fjords from 3 vantage points and the biggest shower in Norway. The staff was great. The only negative was the restaurant. The food was pricey but not great."

"Location location location! Absolutely fabulous location walking distance to everything you would want to see in Bergen! Great food and cafes nearby too, There are no staff as this is a self check in hotel and they send you the instructions beforehand- easy to follow. The rooms are very basic and super tiny. But for short stay you can make do. 7 minutes walk to the train that takes you to the airport. 10 minutes walk to the bus station. 6 minutes walk to the iconic unesco picture stop of Bergen....
