Seabird Lodge
8/10 Good
"I was arriving after 10 PM and I had had an unfortunate mishap where my credit card was in accessible to me. Basically they were not going to allow me to check in without a credit card even though the reservation was fully paid for. This was to cover any incidentals or damage to the room but I found no flexibility or understanding from them when dealing with a difficult situation. I had to have an acquaintance who I barely knew loaned me a credit card so that I wouldn’t be stranded"
"The gentleman who checked us in and out was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. He helped us with 2 beach locations that were both lovely and fun, and several restaurant choices, two of which we used and greatly enjoyed. This location is not north of the bridge where a lot of activities and downtown is, but it's so close. 2-3 min by car. It really was remarkably clean inside and out which I appreciate. I woulld stay there again."
"Given that we drove up on Fourth of July weekend-the parking lot was overflowed with cars. Although I kind of wished spots that were in front of your room were enforced more. Overall, great location, simply accommodating and Fort Bragg is always a gem to visit. :-)"
"Great location, welcoming staff. The room was clean, but you can tell it hadn't been deep cleaned in a while. There was construction on the indoor pool while we were there, so we couldn't use that. Overall, a fine experience."
