It's very well located in a quiet neighbourhood that's easy to get to. I found the staff friendly and efficient. My room was clean, the a/c nice and quiet and had all I needed. There also is a well equipped gym and a couple of swimming pools which were popular with families
Private and quiet. I cherish my privafe and quite space.

It took ages to find my booking. You can imagine that after a long trip this is not ideal.
The bathroom had only one small towel (most hotels have several sizes to accommodate various needs - e.g. larger towels for women).
The bathroom mat, edges of the tiles, and the ceiling were mouldy.
Staff were helpful and very polite. I can’t fault them.

unlike other hotels you are only allowed 1 free guest breakfast although others are booked with your stay. Breakfast cost was too expensive the type of food being offered. Massage therapist was late, and very brutal in her treatment. Massage area was not as sanitary as it should be.
The staff were helpful to a fault. I had a pleasant stay at the BON Grand Pela.
I will be back.

The reception staff who checked me in gave me the worst room 303 on 3rd floor, the Airconditioning unit in this room is installed on top of the rntrance door, it can't cool the room at all.
I had to fight to get my room changed till 1am in the night.
Very bad guest service experience

Okay hotel in general. Bit old looking. But great value for the price. Food in restaurant could be better but the seafood was excellent.

This certainly was not my greatest stay at any hotel. A few things here and there, from mould on the walls of the room which ensured I sneezed throughout my stay here, to calling designated numbers shown on the phone directory only to be told to call a different number, then when we eventually got through to the kitchen/Restaurant, it took the 3rd person to really understand some of the items they have on their own menu. There was an issue with the shower in the room, there were no robes, shower caps or slippers as advertised, the latch to the door kept coming off and the door peephole camera was not working (The bellboy said they disabled it for ALL the rooms because they wanted to change them.) He also explained that they only offered buffet meals whenever the patronage was high, which gave an insight that the patronage was low throughout our stay there. TMI
We booked a room for 2 (My wife and I) and that came with complimentary breakfast, but in the morning, they insisted we must pay for the second person, even though the receipt clearly says ROOM FOR 2, COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST.
In truth, it wasn't all gloomy, the beauty of the hotel structure and the restaurant is undeniable and the room is quite cozy if you are not allergic to mould, but there is more to a hotel than the building.
Place was lovley, staff very attentive, clean quite , music was live saxophone player amazing couple of nights and karaoke on sat at pool, hotel not over crowded, great time had by all. The only let down was roon service thry took too long with the food, but could forgive that as the rest made up for it. :)
The Staff were very friendly and helpful. The Reception staff even arranged for me to get an item of breakfast that i hadn't tried for over 10 year before the start of breakfast time so that i could still make my early flight. Thanks
