Stayed at the DoubleTree in downtown Abilene and had a great experience. The hotel is modern, clean, and in a perfect location for walking to restaurants and downtown spots. Property is impressive for such a small town. Clean, high end and great restaurant/bar. Only downside is the general parking and Valet parking are in a padded parking lot across the street. I would expect secure underground parking for a property of this caliber.

The room was clean with daily service and the staff made you feel welcome. The pool area was nice and the workout room was well equipped.
