"Fabulous refurb, stayed here about 12 years ago the transformation is absolutely lovely! Stayed in a standard room, which is on the small size but beautifully decorated with everything you need. Particularly liked the L'Occitane toiletries in the stylish bathrooms. The restaurant and casual areas are very stylish, the food, atmosphere and staff were great, and Aberlady is just an adorable quiet location on the doorstep of 22 golf courses, beaches and fabulous walks. "Staff genuinely friendly, polite and are always happy to be helpful, even above and beyond the call of duty. That coupled with the well kept and gorgeous building and surrounding land, made my stay perfect. The atmosphere and ambiance of the hotel itself, and then the back drop of a beautiful sky and horizon, and the woodlands surrounding, it’s just the perfect place to quickly, but with slow luxury, be able to unwind and recharge at the same time. Rooms always spotless, the pool is fabulous....
