Salmon fishing

Stayed for two nights at the end of the salmon fishing season. As always the accommodation and food were first class and the staff friendly and welcoming. The menu has a good range of dishes,reasonably priced and there's a well stocked bar with a fairly extensive choice of malts. What else do you need......

Could be so much better

On arrival there was no one around reception unmanned, eventually met some one who asked my name and checked I had a reservation then showed me to the room. I was not asked to sign / register my arrival; how do they know who is in the hotel? Room / hotel decor tired and needs refreshing, the bare timber finish is very distressed and does nothing to enhance the appearance of the hotel.

Comfort and warmth!

Warm, welcoming, friendly atmosphere. The room was comfortable with everything that was needed. The bar was very cosy and welcoming and supported by a number of friendly locals. The food was heavenly with a varied menu, particularly for the time of year (November) and the staff could not have been pleasanter or more helpful. Our third visit and will return.

Basic and Comfortable

Perfectly acceptable little place a little outside of town. It was walking distance to the main street, about 20 minutes. Nothing special or flashy about the place, but it is comfortable. The water pump started acting up in the middle of the night. No issues just some weird noises, but we turned it off without issue.

Good food and beautiful views

On arrival it was not explained about food for possible dinner or breakfast which was included. Room was fine and clean, but a little tired. Some people might like a net curtain in the bathroom as it over looks the car park (there is a blind). We did eat an evening meal and breakfast was tasty. My mattress sloped to an angel and I actually fell out of bed (I am 42 and have never done this). Overall a relaxing enjoyable peaceful stay close to pretty town.

Trevligt och familiärt hotell

Helt fantastiskt litet hotell med utsikt över skotska högländerna. Då vi kom fram sent på kvällen möttes vi av trevlig hotellpersonal, som trots den sena tiden visade oss rummen personligen. Hela hotellet ger ett hjärtligt familjärt intryck och jag skulle definitivt bo där igen, om jag besöker Aberfeldy i framtiden. Det ryktas att hotellet har en väl uppskattad kött- och viltbuffé på söndagar, vilken verkade vara välkänt i den lilla staden. Borde kanske ha provats? Dessvärre fanns inte chans denna gång.

Very comfortable and the staff where so friendly and helpful. Peaceful setting with lovely view. Excellent food if abit pricey.

Superb Country Hotel and Restaurant

Superb country hotel with a welcoming family style atmosphere. Excellent, well executed menu. They only have a few rooms so be quick to book!

Walking distance to all area attractions

The staff was excellent and very accommodating. The people in the Aberfeldy area were frieldly and welcoming. The food was excellent with fresh seafood delivered on Wednesday.

Fantastic Food

Room was huge with a good view of the hills and despite being over the busy restaurant was very peaceful. The room is in need of a little updating but we are not complaining, merely mentioning, and the bathroom needs a bit of net on the lower half (we had to keep the curtains closed as the window overlooks the car park). The evening meal was fantastic, each dish a work of art and so tasty that we both ate too much! The staff are fantastic, friendly and welcoming but also professional. The hotel is within walking distance of the village (about a mile). Just a shame we could only stay one night

High class hospitality

This was a great experience. My partner is in 5 star hospitality and was dubious when I booked the hotel due to the proximity to a triathlon race. She was very complimentary about the service at all levels.

lovely welcome we have stayed here before and find the staff and owners exceptionally friendly with nothing being any bother to them and your comfort is there main priority. I am a vegetarian and though one option is on the menu per night they are more than willing to offer other choices if the one shown is not to you taste. We will return again as soon as we are able.

民宿的な雰囲気と美味しい料理

民宿イメージです。ベットがだいぶくたびれている、シャワーの手元からもお湯が漏れる、ブラウン管TV＋デジタルチューナーで映りもやや難有。WiFiは無料だが、電波が弱く実用性に乏しいなど。しかしそれを補ってくれるのは美味しい料理と田舎らしいのどかな雰囲気、従業員の優しく気さくなサービスです。ホリデーを釣りを楽しみに宿泊されるお客さんが多いようでした。

Quaint Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room had a beautiful view, plenty of room, and was warm! It's closeness to Glen Lyon and Dewar's Distillery we perfect for us. The food at the restaurant was an incredible taste of Scotland. The owners were very friendly and helpful (they supplied a Blackberry cord to recharge a phone). There was a great fireplace to hangout after a long day site seeing.

The personal touch

The hotel has the personal touch down to a T. Straight away I was made to feel welcome. The room was very large and any request was instantly catered for, not that I had much requests. The food was excellent and overall I'd recommend this Hotel to others.
