"What a beautifully unique place to stay! We were in the Gamekeeper's bothy and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was clean and spacious and the wood stove kept us plenty warm! We never saw any red squirrels but I did see a beautiful jay that was so different from the blue jays we have in the US. I would stay here again in a minute!"

"Difficult entry as email came after we had left on our journey. Wouldn't use oven, needs a steam clean. Too minimalistic for us..no curtains, no pictures, no mirror in bedroom.. To use with hair dryer. Breakfast poor compared to other places we have stayed in. Milk was frozen in fridge. Broken tiles and mildew in bathroom."

Lovely view of sea from room and if not then only ten paces and at sea wall so you can hear it and feel near it. Not much going on in town but just very calm and quaint and authentic so not over touristy, which is perfect. Ideal base for exploring region."

The breakfast was great with lots of options (eggs (scrambled and boiled), bacon, sausage, fruit, yogurt (with toppings), cheeses, pastries, juice, and coffee. We enjoy staying here and will stay here again when we return. The location is great as well."
