This Hotel is located in the center of Aarhus so very close to everything you would like to visit. The interior of this hotel is based on Danish design so you immediatly feel like at home.

Loved the stay

Loved the stay. The room is convenient, the breakfast is hearty, the staff is friendly, and the location is superb. In the city's center, you can walk to many restaurants and shops and to Dokk1, the city's library, which is also worth visiting. It was impressive how environmentally friendly this hotel is as well.

This hotel was convenient for the centre of Aarhus, parking was expensive (300DKK per night) but safe and convenient. Loved that they were eco-minded: only servicing rooms on request, minimum food wastage in restaurant. Clean, comfortable and helpful staff.

Basic rooms but great location, breakfast, service

We chose this hotel for its location - a block from my sister's apartment - and it certainly excelled at being in the center of things! I don't know that we would choose it again if proximity to family weren't our priority. That said, the room was clean, but sparse (e.g. barely any toiletries, no decorations or rugs, etc.). The breakfast buffet was robust and tasty, and the staff was helpful with issues large and small.

We loved our stay at Scandic Aarhus City so much that we came back at the end of our trip as well. The front desk staff was so welcoming and kind, eager to visit with us and to help us find out more about Aarhus. That welcoming atmosphere continued throughout all the breakfasts (can we talk about all the oatmeal options?) and throughout our entire stay in Aarhus. We walked everywhere from our hotel—to ARos Art Museum, to the department store Salling and its rooftop patio right down the street, and to and from the train station. The location was perfect for us—as was the relaxing feeling when we returned to our suite and balcony. A wonderful stay and a wonderful feeling we will keep with us. Thank you to everyone for making us feel at home…

The issue was the ac air mover wasn’t working and it was very hot in the room and they couldn’t fix it for the 4 days. We had to go get a fan just to sleep at night …

Kids playing everywhere

Kids everywhere. In the corridors. In the elevators. In the lobby. In the stairwell. In the restaurant. At all times. For someone traveling without kids it felt like being in a kindergarten looking at sound level and the amount of running and playing. I haven’t got anything against kids. It was just too much this time when a toddler were seated in the 30cm space between the tables and then decided to scream the entire meal. If you like a calm stay. Try something else. If you can handle kids everywhere it’s a centrally placed nice hotel.

Die Zimmer sind Ok, die Betten allerdings sehr weich, vor allem in den günstigsten Zimmern. Die erste Nacht war laut vor allem durch Bus-Geräusche vor dem Fenster. Wir bekamen dann ein besseres Zimmer mit besserem Bett und mehr Ruhe: Danke an die Rezeption :-). Das Frühstück war gut - insbesondere die Darstellung von Milch-Alternativen und laktosefreier Milch in der Original Packung. So kann man sich sicher sein auch das richtige zu bekommen.

Rengøring af værelset var ikke ok. Der lå hår i sengen, sengetøj var plettet og fandt gamle kontaktlinser på gulvet. Strygejernet på værelset passede ikke til stikkontakterne på værelset, så dét skal man ikke regne med at kunne bruge. Ikke sikker på at klimaanlægget overhovedet virkede.

En mand af få ord

Først og fremmest, var det dårligt service da det værelser jeg havde booket ikke var det som på billedet så røg mine forventninger til resten ned. En ung kvindelig ansat var ikke så pæn i munden, en stige til et vindue var ved og falde af virkeligt dårligt stand, vinduet til værelset kunne ikke åbnes, og mega mærkeligt og skrive på nogen skilte rundt på hotellet hvilke tidspunkter det er bedst og spise morgenmad på dage i streg måtte jeg springe morgen mad over da der ikke var plads. Gulvet på værelset var ikke gjordt ordentligt rent, kan godt mærke Hotel d'Angleterre er bare steppet bedre. Sengene på værelset var ærligt dårlige alt for hårde og ligge på, badekaret er virkeligt småt og glat, gled på det 2 gange da man skulle i bad virkeligt også en dårlig investering, en luft skakt var virkeligt klam fyld af møg og støv og et dødt dyr på en sofa, og på værelset havde jeg en snært fornemmelse af jeg blev overvåget. Beliggenheden af hotellet var fremragende

3 nuits passees dans un hotel centre ville sans charme particulier mais souvent comme tous les scandic helas Points negatifs --- Pas de climatisation ---- Un soi disant climate control qui n a jamais permis de baisser la temperature Donc 3 nuits avec du 30 a 25 degres ds le salon et la chambre juste insupportable 3 ventilos qui ttournait pour esperer dormir D ailleurs la majorite des clients le soir se retrouvait au lobby parce que lui est climatise --- salle de bain centrale assez laide --- ---- un petit dejeuner tres moyen---- avec aucun Choix et meme pas un poisson comme dans n.importe quel hotel ---- quartier envrionnant plutot moyen --- Preferez un hotlel dabs le quartier latin Points posirifs ---- parking Semi privatif quarck a 35 euros la nuit
