"This was one of our favorite places we stayed in Portugal. The lady who runs this is absolutely wonderful (as well as her pet goat and dogs). She even makes a lovely homemade breakfast, by request, for only 6€ a person. In the morning, we could smell her homemade bread baking. The suite we stayed in had a full kitchen, a super comfortable bed, nice bathroom and a beautiful balcony with a view of the hills. The property is very quiet and located in such a peaceful area. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of fresh options, and the parking facilities were convenient. The hotel is also located in a safe and comfortable area, which made the stay even more enjoyable."

The AC unit was great! The staff are super friendly, respectful and welcoming. Isabella was so sweet and kind when she gave us the tour around the villa and helped us answer any questions we had. "Beautiful property overall, but unfortunately the room needs some attention. The bathroom and the area under the kitchen sink had a strong mould smell, and there was visible black mould on the shower caulking and even around the bathroom towel hook. The shower also did not drain properly, which caused water to back up onto the bathroom floor. The host provided restaurant recommendations, which was appreciated, but unfortunately all of the places suggested were closed during our stay. Breakfast...

Parece mentira que un hotel de esa calidad ofrezca un servicio de desayuno con alimentos de baja calidad y poca variedad. "We loved our stay at Peneda ecofarm. It is well located for walks in the National Park and only an hours drive from Porto's airport. There are several natural river pools to swim in with in a 30 minute drive of the accomodation. Which we were directed to by the owners. Our room was modern and fresh with a lovely balcony. The air conditioning was great for night time. The breakfast and evening meals were carefully prepared and delicious with fantastic local vino verde. The local town of Ponte...

"This property needs renovation work. The website pictures hide major defects. The walls have scratches, cracks and defects, the bathroom needs complete replacement (the bathroom door doesn’t even close), the mattress is old and has sunken areas. And the refrigerator freezer was ineffective due to the inches of frost buildup. The delivered breakfast basket was good and the location was central."
