"In all it’s simpleness this is one of my favorites. Not far from the Golden triangle and Burma border it felt like living on a farm. Nice environment and motorcycles to rent. Very friendly owners. Good breakfast and a small restaurant on this farm but also many small restaurants around. Initially booked three nights but stayed five. "

We had hoped that the balcony would be a place to sit and relax in the morning, but the small chair and table barely fit in the narrow space and the balcony wall too high to see over when seated. The “Mountain View” is literally a view to the top of one mountain, otherwise you look over grass to a few banana trees blocking the view. "A nice hotel in a big park simple 70th style but very OK for the price. Location is a 10min wallk to the park/hotel entrance at the main road then a 20 min walk along that main road to the "Golden Triangle". Ask for the free shullte to and from hotel at park entrance. Hall of Opium is also there (highly recommended) that is an advantage."

"This property has changed hands and some of the reviews do not reflect the current situation. The reception staff did not speak English. Parking is off site in an open public area. The walk to reception is OK in the dry season, the same walk with luggage in the rainy season would be a shocker. The bathroom needed attention to the area around the tub and large ants came out in numbers from gaps in the shower tiles. "The hotel is very nice nice and well kept, however the pool was not terribly inviting. Large rooms comfortable beds and a large breakfast served. No places within walking distance and 7-11 is at least a mile walk as well. Great if you have transportation and good jumping off spot to Doi Tong and border of Myanmar."
