"Booked an executive double room which was very spacious and had a large bath too. A bit dated overall but clean and we had a lovely overnight stay. Dinner and breakfast were both good quality with gluten free options. I enjoyed using the pool and sauna (pre book) however disappointed the hot tub snd steam room were not in operation. Also, the spa was closed both Sunday and Monday. Hotel is set in extensive grounds and is a 15 minute walk into Aberfoyle. Plenty EV charging points at the hotel....

"Property was nice. Staff were very nice and seemed to be working hard to manage things. Some little things, like a quite dirty wardrobe, could be better. The rooms were nice but have the potential to be spectacular with a little creative and artistic effort."

"Disaster, we got in from Aberdeen by rail. I was with my older children and my wife. We intended to stay in the Harris room in the back by a car park.it had an overgrown unkept overgrown yard and safety felt like an issue. The security door was broken; would not lock and we had an overall creepy vibe. so bc my family weren’t happy we weren’t happy so just left for a nicer property.. The property needs someone to care and some TLC. We had a lot of luggage and the hotel was not conducive to tired...

"We hadden gelukkig een hele ruime familiekamer met 3 bedden. Maar daar was het Guesthouse ook op gekozen.
Het interieur is sterk verouderd en de jaloezieën hangen los of deden het niet. Er kon slecht één klein raampje open. De service is belabberd. Geen enkele dag is de badkamer gereinigd of konden we beschikken over schone handdoeken. Afgezien van het inchecken was de receptie alle dagen onbemand. Het ontbijt is zeer summier.
Kortom: eens maar nooit meer."
