"The hotel is out of the city centre in a quiet area. The river is close, there are many parks around. The hotel has a parking. My room was clean and comfy. They serve brekfast."

"Great overnight stop on our way back to Sweden. Good when you travel with dogs. Basic hotel, but nice and modern rooms. However, no restaurang as advised - so you have to order delivery or have Mac Donalds next to the hotell"

"Front of house were nice, but by 9pm you are on your own. We needed a few things after a night check in and everything was locked up and we could get no assistance. Beds were not comfortable. Room and bathroom were clean and large, but very very dated."

"I was staying in this hotel during Hannover exhibition. It was 2 hours drive from Hotel to Exhibition door. Hotel itself was excellent. Food in restourant was very good. Hot shower, clean rooms, car parking - all there, all perfect. Would recommend it to anyone."

"Wir uebernachteten nur fuer ein Nacht nach einem langen Flug von den USA. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, geraeumig, und das Bett was super komfortable! Das Hotel selber ist in einer sehr ruhigen Lage sodass wir nachts selbst bei geoeffneten Fenstern nichts gehort haben. Abends haben wir im Restaurant gegessen und es war sehr gut. Beim Fruehstueck am naechsten Morgen gab es eine gute Auswahl, es war der perfekte Start fuer unsere Weiterreise. Wir wuerden hier wieder einkehren und vielleicht auch...

"Stopped off here for an overnight stay whilst travelling across Germany. Booked online last minute and when arrived we had an easy check in to a very clean, spacious room. Plenty of free parking and a nice quiet nights sleep. Cannot comment on the food in restaurant as did not eat there as there were several restaurants within walking distance, however breakfast was included in our stay and was very nice. Overall a very pleasant overnight stay and we would return if in the area again. "

"Very nice hotel in a quiet arear. Friendly and serviceminded staff. Easy to get into Bremen city by Tram. When we arrived at 6pm the reception was closed. We found a staff member, who helped us get our room. Our booking had not been registret, but luckily there were still available rooms."

"wir sind zum wiederholten mal Gast bei Grothens gewesen . Die Größe der Zimmer begeistert uns immer wieder. Jedoch sieht man , das die Herberge in die Jahre gekommen ist. Personal freundlich wie immer."
