"Staff was real friendly & knowledgeable "

"The hotel is at the edge of the gothic quarter. The outside and lobby don’t look so good. But the room is clean, newish looking. Everything is fine once you are inside the room. The receptionists are very friendly too. It exceeds my expectations. Like another reviewer stated, just come back before dark then there are plenty of people walking the streets. I don’t think I want to walk back after dark. "

"Location was right off La Rambla and La boqueria outdoor food market, perfect for walking and very close to Casa Batllo. Staff was very friendly and hotel was clean and modern. Bunk bed room was very efficient for its size, felt cozy but not cramped. "

"Fantastic staff, hotel is pretty much what it says it is. 2 things to know: #1 there is no desk in the room and it's harder to work cross legged for hours at a time on my bed than it used to be. #2 after about 8pm homeless people sleep on the corner of the block. They're no bother, but it changed my feelings on the area. "

"Very clean room with bathroom and a balcony. Comfortable beds, perfect for a city break. Best part was how central it was being based just off of The Ramblas,walking distance to the harbour as well as shops, restaurants and public transport. Only downside was that we were at the front of the building and found it very noisy at various hours throughout the night from people in nearby bars or walking by. My advice would be to request a room at the back of the building. However, we had an amazing...

"This is a great value hotel in the perfect location in the heart of Barcelona. Steps from Aerobus, Metro, La Rambla, Pl. Catalunya, shops, restaurants, convenience stores etc etc. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. My room was small, but this is Europe, and is to be expected. It was very clean and had AC. There are stairs, but an elevator goes part way. The area is safe. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Wallet went missing and we are sure it was in the hotel room safe, didn’t notice until I got home as it had pounds in and was not used when away. Emailed the hotel only to be told that nothing was found in the safe or room. Disappointing as the hotel was good value in a good area. "
