"Comfy bed, clean room, great staff!"
Crowne Plaza Zürich by IHG
"The hotel was conveniently located outside of the city center, next to the public transportation lines. The room was clean and big enough for a short term stay. Big plus for the Nespresso machines, I could use my own capsules. Also, big plus for the complimentary access to the professional gym attached to the hotel."
Ruby Mimi Hotel Zurich by IHG
"The staff was amazing, cocktails were phenomenal, and the only bad part of my stay was that I only stayed for one night."
Hotel Stoller
"Great check in experience. Had some famous guests and great on checkout."
Zurich Marriott Hotel
"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Zurich. The property is beautiful, spotless, and very well located. We found it very easy to get around and never felt that the location was inconvenient. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. When we arrived, one of our rooms wasn’t ready yet, but the hotel went above and beyond by giving us vouchers to enjoy at one of the restaurants while we waited, which was a lovely touch. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with beautiful views of the lake. The bathrooms were also very nice and spacious. But without a doubt, the highlight of our stay was the breakfast. It was absolutely spectacular, with an excellent variety and quality of food. Honestly, it was one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay here again when visiting Zurich. Highly recommended!"
St Gotthard Hotel
"This is a vey nice hotel with professional and courteous staff. It is only a few minutes walk to Zurich Train Station (Zurich HB) and main Bus Station. It is clean and very quiet. We only wished that the cleaning crew paid a little more attention to details. We enjoyed our stay in Zurich and sightseeing immensely!"

Saint Georges Hotel
"this is a fantastic choice if you’re looking to stay in zurich city centre!! really it’s the best location for walking around some of the city’s most famous streets, including the shopping ones! the hotel itself is in a lovely little square and looks very picturesque from the outside, with the shutters and beautiful pastel coloured buildings. the area around it feels safe, even when i went out on walks by myself as a young woman, and the square next door has a lovely looking greek restaurant and japanese restaurant not so far away! also close to the river ☺️ the staff were helpful and always friendly and the rooms are decorated in a lovely way and the views outside the windows are bery picteresque yet again! such an amazing location, style and efficieny of a hotel and i recommend staying here !"

Zurich Travel Guide
Zurich, Switzerland's most populous city, boasts one of the world's highest living standards. Zurich's history dates back to Neolithic times and is concentrated in the city's Old Town. There are no fewer than 50 museums and 100 art galleries. The Old Town is the hub of the city's Zürcher Verkehrsverbund public transport network. Zurich's Hauptbahnhof, situated just 12 minutes from Zurich Airport, handles over 2,900 trains per day and is one of more than 20 rail stations in the city. Zurich's other public transit options include trams, electric buses, Lake Zurich water taxis and Limmat River cruises.
Don’t MissPicasso and Monet are among the famous artists with works displayed in Zurich's Fine Arts Museum, but younger tourists may be more interested in the 1,200 vintage toys on display at the Zurich Toy Museum. Another family friendly Zurich attraction, Zurich Zoologischer Garten, was originally established in 1929 and contains more than 2,200 animals today. Zurich’s Chinese Gardens is themed on temple gardens and features Oriental pavilions and flora spread around a small lake. The gardens are a lovely sight when flowers blossom pink in spring or the autumn leaves turn gold. The garden is a part of Zürichhorn, one of the city's most popular parks, while the Swiss National Museum stands at one end of another Zurich park, Platzspitz. The Uetliberg Mountain is an impressive Zurich viewpoint where people can hike or cycle in summer or go sledding in winter.
Restaurants and BarsZurich's main eating, drinking and shopping district is Bahnhofstrasse, a bustling street near Zurich's Hauptbahnhof. A veal dish named Zürigschnätzlets is prepared with cream and wine sauce and is the city's signature dish. Raclette and fondue are two more typical Swiss meals which appear on the menus of Zurich's over 1,500 restaurants alongside countless international offerings. Cüpli wine is one of the must try drinks and is served at the majority of Zurich's 500 bars. Zurich West is the main nightlife district in a city which boasts a large number of bars and nightclubs.
ShoppingMany of the world's costliest clothing boutiques and Swiss chocolate shops line Zurich's main shopping street, Bahnhofsstrasse. Shoppers on smaller budgets, however, will find better bargains in Löwenstrasse's budget shops or Niederdorf's trendy boutiques. Augustinergasse is a street on which antique and souvenir shops sell some of Zurich's authentic clocks, watches, knives and other typical Swiss souvenirs.
Where to stayLuxury hotels with creature comforts including fitness centres and multiple restaurants can easily be found throughout Zurich. These range from the Movenpick Hotel Zurich Airport to the more centrally located Zurich Marriott Hotel. The Flag Zürich is among the city's most affordable places to stay.
