Great boutique hotel
Fantastic boutique hotel close to everything in Zürich. I've stayed in many hotels in Zürich before and Hotel Helvetia is my favorite. It is super-clean, friendly, has a great location, has great design, and a homey feel. Access to a super gym with spa in the old town. Highly recommended!

Great location and stay
Walking distance to the station Zurich HB. Hotel is clean and has lift to help load up our heavy luggage up to the 5th floor. Our room is a family room. It’s spacious. Converted a sofa bed into a queen size bed for our teen son. Has kitchenette and small dining area if you feel like eating at home. Hotel has a restaurant but we didn’t dine there. Offers 1 free breakfast for each room. Can request to store luggage if checking out early to roam the city and collect before 5pm. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend!

Lovely hotel, niche and cute. This is a boutique hotel, so no trappings of usual commercial establishment. Pros and cons to that. Cons: very small room. Pros: everything else.

Central location within walking distance of all the clean, safe Zurich sites. Some crazies shouting around the hotel when we arrived, but the staff were exceptional, the room spacious, the floors heated. Thick twice before you upgrade for the breakfast "buffet." There is no value other than to sit in the extremely cool restaurant. A great stay for a good price. For three nights, a bargain.

Highly recommend!!
Our stay here was wonderful! We requested an early check-in ahead of time and they were able to accommodate our request, which we greatly appreciated so that we could nap after our long flight in. The room, although a little smaller than we're used to being from the US, was clean and well set-up with a little balcony for us to enjoy. The staff was very responsive and helpful with all questions and requests. We also loved that the location was walking distance to Old Town, where we loved exploring the area for it's beautiful buildings and restaurants. It's also only a 10min walk to the main train station if you're planning to check out several cities while staying in Switzerland. Overall we enjoyed our stay, and would definitely stay here again :)

The staff was great, location too. lovely terrace facing the little river Sihl and trees on the side to have a breakfast/lunch or just a cup of coffee/tea. Very nice surprise to face all that green in spite the hotel being so close to busy roads. surprisingly short distance to walk to the main Bahnhof, or you just take the tram 3 or 14. So convenient. The room was nice and clean.

Hotel close to central train station
Our attic apartment that is supposed to be luxurious was ordinary , definitely not luxurious . The furniture was dated and looked shabby . The bathroom was so small , only one person can get in at any one time , literally . There was a stove but no cookware . The only feature I liked was the beddings . In addition and unfortunately for us, there was an event one night on the roof above us , there was so much loud noise and goings on that we couldn't sleep . Also , the check in/reception area was difficult to find.

bel endroit cosy, belle décoration, très bien situé pour se déplacer à pied ou en transport public, personnel aux petits soins, très aimable et attentionné. un seul bémol : le carrefour très fréquenté et donc bruyant. privilégiez les chambres côté Sihl.

Expérience mitigée.
Le personnel, super aimable, est aux petits soins et cela a compensé une expérience de départ un peu tendue. Certaines chambres ont des unités de climatisation mobiles qui font un boucan insupportable et obligent à laisser la fenêtre ouverte. On nous a changé de chambre sans souci mais la deuxième avait une clim intégrée qui ne fonctionnait pas (27.5 degrés dans la chambre!). On nous a donné une troisième chambre sans souci. La mauvaise surprise est venue du petit déjeuner: aucune option vegan, mauvais café, jambon rose fluo industriel et piètre fromage. Cela ne valait pas 25 francs et nous avons pris le petit déjeuner ailleurs! L'hôtel est très bien situé, décoré avec goût, il possède un toit-terrasse et une terrasse de restaurant donnant sur la rivière. Expérience néanmoins mitigée. Nous n'y reviendrons certainement pas.

The woman at the front seat was so wonderful and friendly, and was able to assist us in English. The hotel is well situated, we walked from the train station and to the old town. We stayed in one of the apartments which was a. Outstanding space for our family of 4 (2 teen girls and 2 parents)
