"We had a great stay at Residence Hotel! The receptionist Allan was amazing. He was so friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. The rooms were very nice, spacious and clean. The hotel is 20 minutes outside of the central square of Zagreb by tram. It leaves right outside the hotel, so that isn't a problem at all. Close by the hotel there is also a Lidl and a good Italian restaurant. "

"I read some of the reviews of this hostel and i got scared! I had been taking night busses and hadn't slept in a bed in a while, so when i got here i asked to change my reservation to a private room w shared bathroom vs dorm. The person working had to check since i'd reserved through Expedia. She asked me to wait for up to an hour, but was able to resolve it in a few minutes. i had a great stay here! The staff was super friendly. There is no AC in the rooms so please make your choice with this...
