Noise at night from Hotel Alex and smoke from neighbour... Other than that it's good. Spacious rooms and love the bath tub!

We stayed for 4 nights and it was great! The perfect location, just a short walk from the train station. The room was very nice and we had a little patio to sit outside our room with a mtn. view. Breakfast was excellent! Easy access to our skis & boots. I would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic hotel in the heart of Zermatt! Literally a 500 foot walk from the train station to hotel, and that same distance to basically everything else in the town. Free breakfast buffet which was very very good, and tea happy hours every night. Room was very clean, private balcony, very nicely unfitted rooms. Highly recommended!

Lovely hotel
Lovely stay, the staff couldn’t be more helpful and friendly. Only stayed 1 night and left too early for breakfast so they made us a little breakfast box to take with us. The restaurant was also brilliant with excellent food and service.

Nice hotel. However, the room was very cold and the heating system didn't work. Staff moved us to another room, but she was a bit rude. Second room was better. Be aware that rooms on top floors might have the same issue

Hotel Butterfly is very close to the main station and from the main street and yet slightly away from the noise. The room was nice with an amazing balcony. The staff is friendly and the breakfast was wonderful. They have tea time as well. The dining room is just perfect and cozy for a mountain resort. We went off-season, in October. many other hotels, shops, and restaurants were closed but I still loved it. Half the town was open.

I have nothing but praise for this hotel ! The cost was high but typical for Zermatt. The room was large , we had a nice balcony , it was quiet but her right off of the busy street with tons of shops and restaurants. Five minute walk to train station. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic. Would highly recommend it !

The bath tub was too narrow and as we were given the fifth floor with the wooden blocks on the ceiling, there were times we got knocks on the head using toilet and had to be mindful near bedside too. Otherwise it is nice. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The Greek staff in the restaurant has also very good attitude.

Topp Service, sehr ruhig, nahe Bahnhof und Zentrum
Im Hotel Butterfly weiß man noch, was guten Service ausmacht! Während der Fahrt mit dem Glacier Express entschlossen wir uns, in Zermatt direkt in die Gornergratbahn umzusteigen. Doch wohin mit dem Gepäck? Ein kurzer Anruf genügte und ein Mitarbeiter erwartete uns. So gelang der direkte Umstieg auf die Zahnradbahn ohne Stress. Nach der Rückkehr vom Gornergrat hatte die Küche eigentlich bereits geschlossen. Dennoch erhielten wir ein vorzügliches Abendessen - und ein freundliches Lächeln an der Rezeption und vom Personal im Restaurant. Das Zimmer war geräumig, mit großer Terrasse und einem bequemen Doppelbett. Da Zermatt autofrei ist, war es auch überaus ruhig. Auch das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Während unseres anschließenden Bummels durch das Zentrum von Zermatt konnten wir unser Gepäck im Hotel abstellen. Das Hotel Butterfly war nicht nur das letzte Hotel auf unserer Bahnreise durch die Schweiz, sondern auch das beste!

Hotel is a lovely combination of traditional and modern. Very clean and comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful. The free afternoon drinks and cake were a nice touch. Very convenient for the station and the main town. Would definitely recommend.

Really loved this place. Had an issue with another booking - I thought I would have been stranded without a place to stay. Booked this place rather late in the evening and the staff welcomed me with open arms. The place was impeccably clean, room was comfortable, view was absolutely outstanding!
