"The property is very centrally located from the beach/ stone town and the new city. Nothing was more than a 20 minute walk. The roof top bar/ restaurant was a nice perk especially during Ramadan when many places are closed for the fast. It is an older property, so the rooms aren't very modern as the showers/ bathrooms could benefit from an upgrade. Staff are very accommodating and friendly. "

"There was no pool and aircon was only in room, possibly in the resto downstairs, but in no common areas. Lovely staff, good food, nice decor and art. Lots of stairs. Airport shuttle was reasonable and good. "

"The pool was a godsend as it was really hot out and the pool was refreshing. The staff was great and took the time to always see how we were. The apartment was large but a little dated which probably was in tune with the charm of the hotel. "

"The staff in Reception and at the breakfast buffet were outstanding. Very friendly and efficient. The food at the buffet was very good and had a huge selection. The spa was a disappointment. It was not clean and I was charged double the price for the service I requested, and did not even receive all that the service was supposed to have included."
