"Good stay at Tembo. The area was noisy till early hours of the morning from characters hanging around the corner of the street. Staff is amazing and food was good. The hotel doesn’t recommend any experiences although its location is surrounded by so many."

"Beautiful property with excellent food and coffee. The staff was very kind and helpful. The rooftop breakfast was a nice respite from the busy town. I felt very secure staying there with security on all night. They were helpful with recommendations for sightseeing and other restaurants. I was able to leave my bags locked up for a late checkout. Transfers to and from the airport were quick and seemless. Very nice place to start your stay on Zanzibar."
