"I had a wonderful stay at Park Hyatt Zanzibar overall — the service, rooms, location in Stone Town, and breakfast were all excellent and met the Park Hyatt standard. However, the beach/oceanfront experience was very disappointing. I specifically paid extra for an oceanfront room, expecting serene views, but instead the shoreline is dominated by ugly docked boats and ferry traffic, which completely takes away from the view and atmosphere. "Wonderful service from start to finish. Amazing breakfast and a beautiful antiquated suite with bags of character and charm. We stayed in a suite at the very top of hotel and had to walk up quite a few flight of stairs as there is no light. You are helped with luggage, however anyone with mobility issues would may struggle. "
