"The breakfast was definitely an interesting and so the second day we went out for breakfast. Staff in the hotel was great! However the Halls echo big time so when a cleaning person or other staff members in the whole talking to the staff member it's so loud it literally will wake you up in the middle of your room. Moving chairs or anything like that is just super loud.... The location is super and the hotel is great it just generally could tweak a few things to make it a little bit more...

"The staff were amazing....very helpful, friendly and ready to go out of their way to help the guests. Room was small, but clean and the bed was comfortable. Located in the heart of Stone Town so it's close to most places of interest. I will stay again."

"Hotel with a unique, cool interior. Missing a safe and refrigerator in the room. There was a problem with the water supply in the shower, the water ran out in the middle of the shower. Experienced the same with the faucet in the sink. Also felt there was a bit of visibility into the shower area from the other buildings around."

"This hotel is excellent. The staff (including the owner) is phenomenal. Everyone is so accommodating and welcoming. The staff speaks English and provides concierge service (directions, booking drivers/transportation and excursions). They were all concerned for my well-being and safety. The food at the restaurant was tasty. The pool is clean, warm, and aesthetically pleasing. The beds include a mosquito net to protect you. The air conditioning is nice and cold.
