During our stay we noticed a lot of things that did not meet the standards of a 5* hotel in any way. For example, rips in curtain in bedroom, no iron in the room, broken toilet seat, no kettle, dirty hottub, only one jet working in hottub, cracks and marks on the bedroom walls, dirty tablecloth at lunch on day of arrival, 2 broken lamps in the room. We were not told you needed to book the hottub amongst other things, which we had to find out for ourselves or from other guests staying at the hotel, as we were quickly dismissed when speaking to someone at reception. No efforts were made whatsoever at any point during our stay. The photos of this hotel on Expedia where I booked is nowhere near what we saw when we arrived. The beds are extremely uncomfortable, furniture is dirty throughout the hotel, WiFi is only available in the lobby which was very inconvenient as we needed to make important work related emails. The hotel is nowhere near the airport and does not offer complimentary shuttle services, we had to pay €48 for a taxi to and from the hotel. Would highly NOT recommend!

Nice place

We were very happy with the location and the hotel in general. The breakfast was amazing!! The only bad thing is that there's no WiFi in the rooms, just at the reception.

Meeste personeel is vriendelijk. Hotel is verouderd en ziet rommelig. Doorgezakte stoelen enzovoort. Gym is geen gym te noemen. 1 sauna was kapot. Douche in health centre was een bak om in te staan, hele badkamer werd nat. Ook niet schoon. Uitcheck was jammer; er werd niets gezegd, wij vlogen pas om 21:00 dus hadden nog wel een lunch verwacht, maar daar moesten we voor betalen. Voor zoveel geld hadden we wel wat service verwacht. Heel bovenstaande verhaal aan receptie verteld, die wisten van niks, hadden dit allemaal nog nooit gehoord terwijl dit in alle reviews staat. Ondanks dit een hele fijne vakantie gehad. Prachtige ligging. Auto huren is wel een must.

Excellent 5* customer service. All staff members were super nice and helpful. The cleanness however was not to 5* standards. Our room was dirty and everything was very used and broken.

O hotel é muito lindo, com uma vista maravilhosa e quartos bem amplos, porém, alguns fatores deixaram a desejar! Na limpeza dos quartos, as toalhas do banheiro não foram trocadas e repostas! A cama, que no site de reserva infomava como cama de casal (queen) na verdade eram duas camas de solteiro juntadas, bem pouco confortáveis!

Hôtel et service décevant - ne mérite pas ses 5*

Très déçu par cet hôtel 5* : Nous sommes arrivés tard (24h) et, à l'arrivée dans notre chambre réservée pour 3 personnes, le lit de notre fils n'était pas fait (ni drap, ni serviette pour lui). Pas de coussins non plus pour les bains de soleil sur le balcon (installés au bout de 2 jours après plusieurs demandes). Aucune mention que l'eau des robinets de l'hôtel n'est pas potable : nous avons été malades tous les 3. Fuite à la baignoire de la salle de bains.

The hotel looks nice in pictures but the room furniture is antiquated. The bed is not comfortable. Rooms need to be updated. WiFi is only available in the lobby which was very inconvenient. The hotel is not near the airport and does not offer complimentary shuttle service. We had to pay €48 for a taxi ride to the hotel. You’ll need to pay another €48 for the taxi ride back as well. My experience overall was disappointing. On the bright side, the staff was very friendly and their breakfast is tasty.

Property is nice and elegant place to stay and staff friendly :) one think only if you need wi-fi connection be very carful on choosing this place as there in no wi-Fi signal there connection keeps dropping and you won’t be able to sent emails properly. Definitely not business people oriantated place.

Serviços podem melhorar.

Hotel localizado ao Norte numa região mais calma de Zakynthos. Excelente café da manhã. Sinal de celular e internet da Vodafone praticamente inexistente. Wi-Fi só funciona no lobby e durante minha estadia estava intermitentemente. Cama de casal eram duas de solteiro juntas de uma forma que no meio ficava um vazio. Muito cuidado ao alugar carro com a empresa indicada por eles, solicitei auxilio ao hotel por email que intermediou o aluguel de um carro automático. No dia e horário combinados além de um atraso de uns 20 min me disponibilizaram um carro com mais de 10 anos de uso e cheio de arranhões. Notei barulhos estranhos no carro inclusive durante frenagem. Reclamei com a empresa, segundo ela o barulho seria normal do carro mas me ofereceram uma troca. Só que o segundo carro oferecido estava ainda em pior estado que o primeiro.

호텔 자체는 시설도 매우 좋고 고급스럽고 만족스럽습니다. 다만 객실 편의 면에서 많이 부족함을 느꼈고, 간단한 요청사항도 돈을 요구하는 느낌을 받아 매우 만족스럽지는 못하였습니다. 항구 시가지에서 차로 꽤 먼 편이고, 차 랜트를 하였을 경우 가성비를 생각하면 만족스럽습니다.

Recommend! An excellent hotel and experience

I was very satisfied with this experience, the room and the service were perfect. The food there, excellent! I will visit there again, and thank all hotel staffs for all services that you provided to my friend and I! The only drawback that I need to mention was the wifi, no wifi signal exist in the room, but I think, due to that reason, I can enjoyed my leisure time.

Staff were great but the room was very hot when we arrived and the air conditioning was ineffective and kept cutting out. The safe was not working although we were told if we called reception they would come and fix it. Bathroom amenities were not restocked, there was no shampoo. The hotel guest noise policy needs reviewing. There loud music coming from a room close to ours making a quiet sit on the balcony after a long journey impossible. The hotel had to ask the occupants to turn their noise down. It’s a real shame because we stayed here some years ago without issue. We immediately left and found a real 5 star hotel !

Waren zum zweiten Mal im Mabely Grand Hotel. Großes Minus ist ganz klar die Fehlkonstruktion der Dusche. Nach jedem Duschen steht das Badezimmer komplett unter Wasser. W-Lan gibt es im Empfangsbereich an einer einzigen Stelle, was für ein europäisches 5*-Hotel echt unterirdisch ist. Wir hatten dieses Mal ein "normales" Zimmer im Haupthaus und mussten überrascht feststellen, dass es in diesen Zimmern nicht einmal einen Wasserkocher für Tee/Kaffee gibt. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass man doch den Zimmer-Service anrufen solle, natürlich gegen Entgelt. Ansonsten eine für uns gute Lage des Hotels. Beautiful view from the property. Staff are polite, friendly and super helpful. We enjoyed the amazing buffet for breakfast and dinner every day. The hotel also hosted some events like Greek night and live music. We had a gorgeous sea side view of the hotel which overlooked beautiful blue water. The property was very clean, just looked a little old to me or maybe it was just traditional. Overall loved every bit of it.

Séjour de charme au Mabely Grand Hôtel

Excellent séjour fin septembre 2018 malgré une tempête de 30 heures.Séjour en all inclusive (mais en fait light). Cadre architectural rétro, personnel efficace. Chambre avec vue sur mer, notamment au coucher du soleil, très belle. L'aménagement de la salle de bain n'est cependant pas à la hauteur : conception mal pensée. Pas de plage à proximité mas criques et falaises superbe (cique de Navagio à ne pas rater ou le site de Keri au Sud.. La ville de Zakynthos avec l'église Aghios Dyonisios ou ,la zone piétonne sont intéressantes.Clients de l'hôtel essentiellement non francophones. Louer une voiture est presque indispensable à notre avis pour visiter les villages environnants et aaccéder au plages cde la côte est...

hôtel de grand charme mais isolé

Très bel hôtel au charme un peu rétro, style anglais chic, très belle déco dans les parties communes! pas de plage à moins de 20 km minimum buffets ne présentant pas la plus grande variété déjà vue mais de très grande qualité!chambre très correcte mais l'insonorisation avec la salle de bain voisine(404) laissait beaucoup à désirer Personnel sympathique, belles piscines

Honest review

Hotel is beautiful although it needs some updating. For example, the lining of the pool is coming away, chair brocken, bathrooms tired etc). The biggest issue with this hotel is the evening entertainment. It is infrequent and boring (Greek night was good). The bar area is more like an old people’s home than a holiday hotel in the evening. The food is gorgeous but the all inclusive drink choice is very poor. All in all it is a gorgeous (it is a stunning building but needs updating), views are beautiful, hotel in a very quiet location with lovely staff staff but they need to up their game as their all inclusive and entertainment in not as good as most other hotels. Finally, I do not think the hotel is 5 star in its current state.
