"Simple place that meets all the requirements: very quiet location for sleeping, comfortable beds, clean, free parking and a shared kitchen fully stocked. Nescafé Dolce Gusto in the room if you buy coffee pods. Very good value at this place. We walked to Lower and Upper Town from here (25 minutes)."

We booked 3 nights as part of a trip to the Istrian Peninsula and enjoyed the hotel so much that we booked an additional night when we returned to Zagreb to get our flight home. The place has an Old World feel that isn't stuffy at all. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel was happy to exchange the feather pillows for foam at our request. "We stayed two nights at Hotel Jagerhorn over Easter weekend and loved every moment. Five stars across the board.
The location is unbeatable — steps from the funicular to the Old Town and the main square, with endless restaurants, bars, shops and bakeries nearby. Even over Easter, there was no shortage of options, including plenty of gluten-free and dairy-free friendly spots. The city has a wonderful, affordable vibe.
Breakfast was outstanding — generous hot and cold options, and easy to navigate...
