"It was amazing, the Grand has really friendly and helpful staff from the minute you check in to when you are leaving the hotel. The room service was great with polite people delivering the food and the meals were delicious. They do breakfast in bed service which is so convenient and a real treat. The rooms are spacious with separate wash and bathrooms. Huge comfy bed. Top tier experience."

"Right from checking in, our room,the staff, the grounds & the food & drink being excellent. The staff are really friendly especially in the bar & restaurant where they made a special effort as my partner is vegan, also the food & drinks were really reasonable which I didn’t expect with it being a hotel. Sitting outside on the terrace in the sun with a cold cider/beer was fabulous as was sitting in the lounge on an evening chatting to Tom the barman. He was really helpful in suggesting local places to visit on our weekend away. We will definitely be back especially with the direct deals they have at the moment £169/179for 2 for 2 nights including breakfast & £15 towards your 1st night meal Apr-Sept. Bargin!!!! Well done everyone❤️💜"

"So tired and dated. Dark rooms where the light didn’t work and the water didn’t drain in the wash basin. The keys didn’t work and we had to go back to reception upon return. Very friendly helpful staff and a good reception ."
