Great spot for a getaway, the location is perfect and the room is very clean, neat and tidy with everything needed, had a spa in the room which was a bonus and the bed was extremely comfortable, will definitely stay here again.

Settlers house in York was a great place to stay and so convenient to all the attractions. It was economical, very clean and comfortable. Live music all weekend created a lovely ambience. The staff were great and couldn't do enough for us.

The town of York is lovely. The visitors center has so much great information. Now to the Settlers Cottage, the carpet was disgraceful and filthy. Bugs in the room, no drinking water, no hairdryer, only luke warm water for shower, musty smell. The place has so much potential, but not taken care of. We booked a deluxe twin room, nothing deluxe about it!I trying to be very honest so that the next person isn’t as upset as we were. We had a prepaid evening check in, so felt that we had no choice but to stay.

This is country town accommodation. It is clean and comfortable and a good standard. York is a beautiful Western Australian historic town, neat, tidy, a safe environment with very friendly people, about 100km from Perth. Very relaxed.

Good Stay.

We had a room that faced the road but this made our access with bags very easy and there was no problem with noise. Rooms were a little cramped but the toaster provided was much appreciated for a quick breakfast. Very short walk through the property to the restaurant. The food was good but very limited for my husband who is a coeliac.

I thought my room was beautiful, the only thing I was concerned about was the shower being in the bath, its ok for young people but when your nearly 70 its unsafe..Thank you for a lovely meal and room.

Lovely, quiet affordable hotel stay with our 10 year old son. York was a nice spot for us to explore and Settlers House was right in the thick of it all. The room was just what we needed, clean, comfortable and just the right amount of room for 3. Dishes, utensils, kettle, microwave oven, toaster fridge and freezer meant we had choice to go out stay. Service was friendly and check in was easy. Didn't get a chance to try the restaurant this trip, but we'll be able to do that next time. Great getaway experience.

Great location, heritage room was fantastic, well appointed and included microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge. Great value for money. Shower was hot. We stayed in room 19 and I would highly recommend staying there, tucked away well. Only downside is due to very reasonable costs, the place was overrun with a wedding party which decided to disrupt everyone for a few hours. Other then that, place is very good value for money. Heritage weekend was full of things to do.

The room we booked into was part of the old building, it felt damp and was very dated. We had no hot water for the weekend so had to walk to another room to shower. Accomodation was a bit of a let down.
