"Gym very small. Used the spa the first evening with no cost, the following morning when I went to use it after gym was told it was £30 per person. When speaking with reception they said it is because it is new and it is on the website, I have checked website and it is in very small print when you are looking for it. I understand the payment however think that the hotel should inform you upon check in that there is a cost instead of finding out when you go to use the facilities. I also had a food credit automatically from Expedia however again was not informed of this and hadn’t realised until I received an email when I had left. When checking out and speaking to reception to say I was disappointed re the cost of spa and no info, there was no apology just simply it tells you on the website, not what you expect from a 5 star hotel. It was a reasonable stay and rooms clean and comfortable, however when trying to order room service qr code say 5050, this was constantly engaged so ended up just calling reception."

"The location and cleanliness was good but the bed had to be the most uncomfortable bed that me and my wife have slept on. We both came with bad backs from the mattress being so hard. Poor really for Hilton’s standards."

"We really enjoyed our stay here There were a few little issues like tea stains on the sofa in the room and maybe the carpet could do with a deep clean i think they should change their description of the rooms though as this is definitely misleading we booked a Queen room and the Expedia description did actually say Queen bed (super King-sized) it turns out that the Queen rooms don't actually have Queen size beds they have king size beds so we had to pay an extra £15/night to upgrade to a super king-size bed"

"1. Positives: great location, reasonable breakfast, good sized family room with 2 decent beds, friendly and helpful staff 2. Negatives: not well noise insulated: heard all the traffic at night; ridiculously small shower ( got hurt in it on handrail - just why? there was space for a larger shower cubicle in the bathroom); limited car parking and £25 extra and not guaranteed."
