Interesting, quirky period room with nice views.
Comfortable bed. Quiet except for occasional stange banging noises at night, possibly the wind flapping something. Not much noise intrusion from guests in the corridor either.
The only thing we didn't appreciate was being phoned several days in advance to be asked if we wanted to book for dinner!
Quite apart from the fact that we'd seen neither menu nor prices and obviously had no idea so far in advance as to what our appetites would be on the day, they then explained that if we didn't book we would probably have to wait as their restaurant could get overcrowded!! With us both being very susceptible to Covid, that was the very last thing we needed to hear, so we politely declined.
