"A gorgeous place to stay. We loved our time at Aquila and felt so relaxed and refreshed being there. The room was clean and cosy, especially with the fire on. The amenities were fantastic and the bottle of bubbly readily enjoyed! We both found the bed to be comfortable and had a real quality night's sleep. Couldn't fault it, thank you for having us! "

"Some friends booked for us to stay here whilst attending a sporting event whilst over from the UK. It’s a conference centre first and foremost and for the ten days we were there there were no conferences so was very very quiet with limited facilities available. However, it proved to be an excellent base for us, the rooms were very comfortable (the beds are huge) and provided kettles, toasters, fridge etc. There’s no reception after I think about 5pm so having left my keycard in the room at...

"Quaint and characterful. Did not have facilities as described (ie no functioning wifi and brig your own coffee) the word "boutique" is doing a lot of heavy lifting but its cute, cosy and the birds that visit are wonderful. Must like owls!"

"This hotel is a home for displaced individuals, there were permanent residents in rooms that were not even one star quality. I did not even sleep there as I did not feel safe and instead booked a different motel down the road. My intuition was correct as when I turned up the next day I saw the reception front windows had been smashed in overnight. Definitely avoid this hotel"

Honestly, the cabins have seen better days and were a bit rough round the edges but, it was fully equipped for a family to stay (only 2 of us) and had pretty much all we needed. "Totally immaculate! Beautifully presented with lovely white sheets, pillow slips and towelling. Not a mark anywhere. Gorgeous gardens, plenty of convenient parking spaces. The property is listed as a " motel" but that doesn't do justice to it. Built around an historic home, it's way more than that. We will stay here again."
