"We stayed at Flisvos Hotel as a convenient stop before an early ferry to another island. For a one- or two-night transit stay, it met our expectations.
The owner was friendly, and the room was clean. The bed was comfortable, the A/C worked great, and the blackout curtains made for a good night's sleep. Amenities included a refrigerator, hot water kettle, free parking, safe, desk, nice TV, complimentary coffee the first morning, and a pleasant balcony.
As frequent top-tier Expedia travelers, we often receive room upgrades. We were disappointed when the receptionist told us that because there were only two of us, we wouldn't be upgraded to a larger room, despite availability. Traveling with two large suitcases, two carry-ons, and two backpacks, the extra space would have been appreciated.
The biggest drawback was the bathroom. The shower was very small, only partially enclosed, and had a handheld shower wand at waist height with no wall mount, leaving the floor very wet.
Breakfast was an issue - no protein - no restocked. Guests arriving later missed out on eggs, cheese, and meats, and the fruit was past its best.
The location is outstandingājust steps from the ferry port, beach, restaurants, cafĆ©s, markets, pharmacy, and shops. Everything is easily walkable, making the location a 10/10.
Overall, this is a clean, comfortable hotel for short stays or ferry connections, but we'd choose another property for a longer vacation."
