The filled barrels are delivered from the fill room to the warehouse by a gravity fed rail system that has been in use for over 100 years. Each filled barrel weighs over 500 pounds and contains roughly 180 bottles of bourbon.
The woodford reserve distilery is home to some very good Kentucky Bourbon whiskey. owned by the same people who own a few other spirit companies this place sits in between million dollar horse farms, and is exceptionally beautiful. 


This is the kettle where all the magic happens. Each kettle distills the liquor, and after three times it is put into fresh oak barrels and put into the cask house for 8-9 years. the smell in here is amazing, but very high in CO2, so don't breath in to much, or you will be drunk, and passed out.
