"The room was tiny and dirty. No openable windows and the aircon gave a bad smell. Standard was of a 3 star hotel but at least the reception was friendly and they gave us a discount."

"Very disappointed with my stay. I’m not happy I just spent £250 (500AUD approximately) for a night here. This place needs some serious TLC. Mouldy and rusty bathroom was the worst part. That and the balcony right on the railway. I don’t understand how you can charge so much for a room in this condition and looking right onto the tracks. Bed was very uncomfortable too. Wish I never booked this and had travelled back the day before instead. All these problems wouldn’t have been such a big deal if it wasn’t so ridiculously expensive to stay here. Paid a lot less around Brisbane during the week elsewhere and was far better accommodation! I definitely would never return here nor recommend. "

"A very excellent hotel with friendly, professional staff. I took advantage of the pool, the concierge service to leave my bags before check in and room service which was very clean. My main complaint is that the walls are very thin and I could constantly hear the family in the large room next door talking, the microwave beeping, and the dragging around of furniture. Not super sound proof. "

The location was easily accessible from airport (train to Roma station and a few blocks to walk from there) and easy to get around Brisbane from here as well. The closest grocery store was closed on the weekend, but there was a mini store right next to hotel with essentials. Overall, a good stay and I would certainly stay here again. "
