"Exellent resort right on the lake/dam side. We really enjoyed to chill out here for a 2 days break during our motorcycle ride in Sri lanka. Staff and and food were top notch. "The place was absolutely beautiful. Our room had stunning views and the facilities overall were excellent, new and very well maintained. The food was great, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We also did a trekking tour organized by them, which turned out to be a wonderful experience. "I found the acoustics pretty poor, the staff very friendly and well trained, what little food I had was quite nice. The location was a little more remote than I bargsained for, so not a criticisim but we aware. "Surrounded by beautiful rice fields, wilderness and Peacocks this is an ideal place for who seeks a secure place for rest and respite. The hotel staff was amazingly nice and ready help. Those who travel from East like Trincomalee or Arugambay this would be an ideal rest stop. My meals by a la carte were delicious. Special thank to Food and Beverage Manager (sorry forgot the name) for his recommendations. "
