"It's clean and it's cheaper than anything you'll get in Effingham. I've stayed here a number of times over the last ten years or so because it is perfectly situated between my home and destination. But the place is showing its age. The property desperately needs some upkeep. The rooms were refreshed a while ago and could stand to have another. Windows were filthy. Breakfast - get there early and you'll get a decent cup of coffee but the hot breakfast (an egg patty, sausage, and some tiny biscuits) is okay."

"The bathroom fan was hard on the ears. I could also hear my neighbors bathroom fan squealing. I was then called out of my room at 10:00pm because they didn’t run my card when I checked in. "

"Check-in staff was excellent, accommodated my special request with courtesy and professionalism. We will be traveling to area for business over the next few months and will stay here for sure "

"Breakfast was plentiful, a lot of options to choose from, and inviting. Coffee was passable with the addiction of chocolate milk and a sprinkle of cinnamon. The king size bed is a larger version, but the pillows were of unusual variety - I didn't find one that was good for me. They were large, some particularly heavy, and dense. We had a clean room and bathroom. It was easy to park."

"1st room was extremely dirty. Went to front desk and they said since I booked through a third party app, it automatically assigned a room and it happened to be one they use for “storage”. 2nd room was cleaner, still just changed into our wedding attire and left "
