"Perfect cottage for our family of 6. Great location with variety of dining and shopping options, perfect amount of space for the family to spread out or all be in one room together. Beautiful garden. The parking is tight for large vehicles but we made it work. The cottage is cute with historic charm and some low ceilings, but we’re all over 6’ tall found the charm worth ducking our heads for. Highly recommend the Dolphin House!"

"Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log! Ate out in local restaurants, which were lovely especially Alberto’s Italy. There are a couple of free parking areas in town 5-10 minutes away. During our stay there was a film set in place for Father Brown and a restriction at the end of the road. It didn’t take away from our stay, but was glad of the premier inn parking just a 100m away. "This was the third hotel we stayed at in Oxford, and it was by far the best. From the moment we arrived, with a clearly marked parking space ready for us, the service was attentive and helpful throughout our brief stay. The interior décor blends classic elegance with modern touches, including some beautiful contemporary paintings. Our room had a wonderfully comfortable bed, a well-equipped bathroom, and a breathtaking view over the High Street and the University Church of St Mary the Virgin. If it weren’t for the modern traffic below, it would have felt like stepping back in time. While it was windy and dark outside, the hotel’s warm, peaceful atmosphere made us feel instantly relaxed. Breakfast in The Quad Restaurant was excellent – a perfect way to start the day. A truly great hotel that we would be happy to return to. "
