"Do not stay here. Hot and noisy AC in every room. The worse sleep in years.
Booked a Deluxe room and was given a Superior room without being told why I’d been downgraded. Mistake by the reception team is what I was told.
All rooms in the hotel have an AC issue. Management, reception and maintenance all acknowledged this. Even when the AC is not running there’s a constant water cycling noise over 50dB. The fix? Turn off the AC. But in over 30deg heat that’ll give you the worst night’s sleep...

"Older but decent property. Food was really good and the spa looked nice. Not a good hotel for solo travelers - too remote and isolating on parts of the property. Poor wifi at th back of the property. Better for group stays. Rooms do not have modern amenities."

"It is a stunning and safe location in Johannesburg. Close to a mall with some nice restaurants. The staff were very helpful. Sadly, the advertised airport shuttle did not exist but an Uber from the airport was readily available and reasonably priced.
And we met a local turtle in the hall in the morning.
PS. There are a lot of stairs."

"The staff were welcoming and approachable. When a room change became necessary, they were understanding and prompt in helping. The General Manager was open and easy to talk with. Although the carpets were somewhat dated, the hotel remained clean. The bathrooms are big and nice. The shops are a walking distance away. We had a lovely stay."
