The hotel is connected to the Rosebank Shopping Mall. There are several great restaurants at the mall as well as lots of stores and boutiques. I ate at a different restaurant each day and didn’t have to Uber anywhere

Loved it at Royal majestic. The location was perfect - attached to the rosebank mall, next to the Gautrain stop in a safe area. The room was big, gym was great and breakfast was amazing

Great location, loved the Rosebank mall area, lots to eat and shop. Central to everything I wanted to see. Staff was very friendly. Very quiet and pleasant area. Surprised by the lack of face cloths/wash clothes.

My only critique is breakfast and the service at breakfast. Things just seem very dis organised. The rest of my stay is great and it’s very convenient to be staying in a hotel that has direct excess to The Firs and the Zone and Rosebank mall.

Horrible stay and experience. DO NOT STAY HERE. The reviews are clearly fabricated. There are many good hotels in this area. The others cost more for a reason. Pay the extra $ if you want a hot shower. This hotel did not have hot water, functioning AC in the rooms, or a helpful staff for the two nights we stayed here in June 2026. We spent our first 6 hours in Rosebank chasing the staff to send maintenance, going out to eat even though we weren't hungry to escape the heat in our room, then finally being moved to a different room that also didn't have working AC, but was on the other side of the building and had the windows left open so it wasn't a sauna. Everyone who works here is clearly tired of all the guests complaining about the countless issues with the building and just don't care at all about your problems. Please stay somewhere else during your stay in Rosebank.
