The staff were very friendly. The rooms need updating and the facilities need a lot of love. The 3rd bed was tiny, not even a single size wide. But the kids loved going in the pool, the playground and mini golf. It was nice to sit on the balcony and see the kangaroos.

The location of the hotel is beautiful and serene, abundant with wildlife. The hotel itself is quite tired but you can see the potential, with a little TLC this hotel would be gorgeous. Staff were lovely and our dinner in the restaurant was delicious

It was a very convenient place for us to stay close to Cape Jervis, where we took an early morning ferry to Kangaroo Island. The property looked a little tired in terms of maintenance (some chipped paint, some aging furniture), but it was adequate and we felt fine. We had a nice view of the golf course, with kangaroos hopping right past the door facing the golf course.
