Obviously and older property badly in need of updating. Also obviously understaffed, which is NOT the staff's fault. They were trying. The carpet throughout the property was noticeably stained and dirty. Pieces of trash were strewn about the hallways and stairwells.

I wiped my toilet when entering room, filthy. Hair on shower wall. Tv didn't work. Hallway smelled like dirty diapers. Pillows felt like bean bags. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY

Front desk person disagreeable, first room I was showed was dirty, second room was dirty as well. From desk person didn’t want to give me a receipt for the second room I was given. There’s mold in the rub, shower head detached from wall. Food and filth on the desk top in the room

Over booked and understaffed, got a call before arriving. ask if we would be willing to get an upgrade from two double beds to a king executive room, i was very clear I would do one of the two rooms but not both, as the other group with us were not husband and wife, we got there, and they gave our double away on both rooms. There was a pull-out sleeper in the room, and it look like the Salem Zoo rented it out for the elephant mating program, i would have touched the thing wearing a Tyvek suit. Then we checked in and they said we are short staffed, and we would have no room cleaning, and if we needed towels and wash cloths, we would need to get them, so when i went to get them i was told they had no clean ones and handed me the bathmat size for a washcloth. worst $1400 for three days i ever spent. In fairness to the staff that was there they tried the best they could.

The room had ripped curtains and also cigarette burns on them. Cigarette burns on floor. Food pieces left on floor. We informed the front desk and she moved us to a cleaner room, but never apologized for the inconvenience.

I was charged a $100.00 deposit at check-in, even I had paid in advance for the room. It was not explained why I was charged this amount. A printed notice informed me that it would be credited back to my credit card within 30 days.

I had made reservations for a family of four and was told upon arrival that it only sleeps 3 because the couch was a “twin”. They informed me that they didn’t have another room available but would bring in a roll away bed. Upon entering the room the room was dirty and smelled really bad and the sofa bed had dirty sheets with blood stains. The 6th floor had people loitering and making noise all night. This isn’t something you want to deal with arriving to your hotel especially after a 19 hour drive.

Nice Staff.
TV video goes out everyday. Audio is there, no video. Breakfast has much to be desired compared to other LaQuinta stays. Nice staff.

Did not like that I was not told at time of checkin that an extra $100 for security deposit was going to be added to my card. This was done without permission.The curtain over the window had been cut, prevented full coverage of window. It looked very bad & when reported to front desk response was; “We are aware & there is nothing we can do about it”. Advertisement for this location is definitely misleading.

I like that the property still has the vintage style of it , the double doors to bathroom and to bedroom was really nice and cozy. My stay was safe and pleasant. Definitely will be returning. We thoroughly enjoyed our mini getaway!!! You will too!
