From the summit cairn. Lovely place to walk with views of Morecambe Bay and the Lakes. Miles of paths through the woods and over limestone pavement. Unlikely to meet anyone else!

A lovely place to spend a few hours especially with kids. Barbecues are allowed in the allocated area. Good kids play area, row boats, cafe, toilets. National Trust owned so car park is pricey.

In inclement weather the Motor Museum is a great place to visit. Exhibits include all manner of classic cars, bicycles, motorcycles, vintage shop memorabilia and a Donald Campbell Bluebird exhibition. There's a large cafe too and all are dog friendly.
