"Our room was small but spotlessly clean. Whole place feels like it's been fairly recently refurbed and it's "trendy" and attractive. Staff in the pub/restaurant downstairs are lovely and - although we only had some chicken wings as we were heading out for the evening - they were delicious. We weren't aware (possibly our own fault!) that the premises are not staffed overnight and consequently there are no food or drink facilities at breakfast time, aside from the tea/coffee in the room."

"Pub with rooms rather than a hotel. Restaurant menu was 3 pies 2 meat 1 veg served as it came no choice ( nice pie to be fair) not a restaurant! We didn’t have breakfast. Room was clean and functional but beds desperately needed new mattresses and shower was very temperamental. Carpark needs resurfacing potholes dreadful. Property has a good location in a quiet setting with friendly & welcoming staff."

This used to be the public bathrooms, it is in the middle of two busy streets, down a staircase with no windows, it is therefore of course super noise, scary and they do not say anywhere in the listing. I was unable to check in door code never worked, after contacting the property they never refunded. This is a complete scam, there is nothing cool about the experience. Scary and dangerous "

"Easy check in, staff were super helpful. Room was a great size, clean and nice and bright. Struggled to get the app to connect to my Expedia booking to control all the mod-cons but it wasn't critical - I could still use the TV remote the old fashioned way!
